Beloved and gentle husband, daddy, son, brother, friend, co-worker and neighbor who battled brain cancer
-- a glioblastoma in the brain stem that we call Spot. That Damm Spot was released with Steve's peaceful passing on September 7, 2009.

Live from St. Paul: Looking good
Steve has just been wheeled back into the private prep/recovery room. The RN reports that he did well. He's awake and lucid (maybe just a little loopy) and about to drink water for the first time since last night.
Glad all went well! We said Mandy was having her port "installed" also. Does sound rather car like, doesn't it? :-) Are they leaving him accessed when he goes home tonight so they don't have to reaccess for chemo tomorrow? Prayers and love to all!! Love, Natalie www.believeinmandy.blogspot.com
Hi -- Yes, they're leaving him accessed. Katie was really upset that she couldn't squish him with hugs tonight. Three-year-olds don't always understand medic ports.
