Today I enjoyed taking Bundtinis to my mom's caregivers and my kids loved buying a sweet older couples dinner at Chilis! I love getting to be a part of this each year! I shared with my sweet mom too! It made her smile.

We paid for the family behind us in the In and Out drive thru. The In and Out workers loved it and by the time we got our food they said we had started a trend behind us in the line.


We also have a gift card to a desk worker at the Frisco YMCA...always so friendly!

I made pumpkin bread for the staff at Furneaux Elementary. I shared Steve's story with a few of the teachers and they were inspired to pay it forward. I'm so honored to be a part of this every year. Thank you Damm family!

Bought this lovely young couple and their friend dinner in honor of Steve at one of our favorite places tonight. They shed tears hearing his story and promised to pay it forward. Thank you for inviting and allowing us to participate each year.

Stopped by a local nursing home and took an orchid, fancy cupcakes, and four HEB gift cards for the aides on duty with thank you notes for their hard and important work!

In honor of Steve's birthday and the 48 Accts of Kindness I did all my husband chores around the house today and plan to help him with the last mowing of the season tomorrow by edging the lawn. A little out of my realm, but it feels good to share kindness! Thank you for continuing this wonderful tribute to Steve! 💜

I sent 8 large pizzas to my best friend's school in Dallas. She is one of the best educators I know. She works at Hexter elementary with 58% economically disadvantaged students, she's working on her masters, and this summer she got $2,000 donated from Staples for some wobble chairs for her students. She calls me weekly to share ideas about students including some special ed kiddos she has in her classroom. I love her to pieces and wanted to gift her and the staff at Hexter!

My first act of kindness today is an annual donation to The Bethany Church Food Pantry Fund administrated through Shepard of the Hills Christian Church here in Austin. I'll also be volunteering my time on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to help with delivering turkeys and food to the food pantry.
