52 Acts of Kindness (8)

Christina in Frisco:

Blaine wrote a thank you note to Mr. Powell, a special teacher at Lawler (who sings the announcements to his students each day!) and we delivered it along with a gift card. Happy birthday, Steve!

Sobie in Frisco:

As another random act of kindness to honor Steve, we have donated one year’s worth of hygiene products for a middle school child at Frisco ISD through Refresh Frisco. #Dammkind

Pari in Frisco:

Hooked up my kiddo’s teenage camp counselors with fat gift cards and a note.

***

Laurie in Frisco:

Made & delivered a surprise dinner for a friend going through a difficult time.

Anja in Frisco:

We just paid for this sweet family’s groceries. Their big smiles warmed our hearts!

Janell in Frisco:

We supported a teacher with breast cancer and bought four shirts to support some of her financial burden with this fight. Thankfully now the report is she is cancer free!

We signed up to take a meal to a new mom and sent her a dammkind label as to part of ‘why.'

Delivered a bag of hand me down dinosaurs to a couple young kiddos’ doorstep that love them because we love them.

Incidentally I received a dammkind gift today from a coworker and was reminded that kindness comes full circle.

Erin in Frisco:

Fun day celebrating Steve!

I did soaps in all the staff bathrooms (and the nurse!) and Amazon cards for my library mentors. Did you know you can upload a picture to an Amazon ecard?

Julianne in Frisco:

We made a donation to Refresh Frisco and Lovepacs Frisco in memory of Steve.  We also left extra tips and paid for the people behind us in drive thru lines today.  So glad to have something else to think about today other than the insanity going on in the world. Been thinking about you all day ❤️❤️❤️

Liz in Frisco:

I will be doubling my regular contribution to the Hosp Angel Tree program and donating to Refresh Frisco in Steve’s honor today!

Rene in Albuquerque, New Mexico:

My act was small but meant a lot to me and made me think of you and Steve. Yesterday I checked in with my fellow Dem gal pals to make sure they were sturdied and feeling ok. Will continue to do so for some while.

Thank you for honoring your lovely husband and your beautiful union.

Bought breakfast for the persons in line behind me. So wonderful to see their huge smiles in my rear view mirror.

Your fight for cancer is really great and people around you might have taken care of you. You will be remembered forever. May God bless you.
