48 Acts of Kindness (9)

Melissa in Helotes:

Our family made GoFundMe donations to help defray the costs of 4 funerals in 2 families after a horrific car accident a few days ago. In one car, a Mother and 2 children, ages 9 and 10 were killed instantly, and 2 other family members hospitalized. In the other car, a 19 yr old woman and her boyfriend died instantly as well. One of these families we don't know at all, but wanted to do something for all of them. Life is precious, so we celebrate Steve's life and the loved ones lost in the Bernal Portocarrero and Bartolome families of Tampa, Florida today.

I'm part of a local running group call Moms Run This Town. Members have MRTT magnets on their cars, and if you see another magnet around town, you flip it upside down. I worked with one of the chapter coordinators to buy magnets for 10 random members in honor of 48 Acts of Kindness. She loved the idea so much, she decided to buy another 10 magnets. Today she posted it to the group FB page. Below is a screenshot of her post.
