Beloved and gentle husband, daddy, son, brother, friend, co-worker and neighbor who battled brain cancer -- a glioblastoma in the brain stem that we call Spot. That Damm Spot was released with Steve's peaceful passing on September 7, 2009.

Lord, please be with Steve, and sustain him. Be with Tyra, and let them both feel your loving presence. Be with them amid questions unanswered, especially the big one, "Why?" Grant them wisdom, courage, and the kind of strength that can only come from you. Amen.
