We are at the St. Paul ER. Steve had a rough night and woke up at 5 with a 103-degree fever and significant left-side weakness. Dr. M wanted him seen right away, so an ambulance picked him up.

Beloved and gentle husband, daddy, son, brother, friend, co-worker and neighbor who battled brain cancer -- a glioblastoma in the brain stem that we call Spot. That Damm Spot was released with Steve's peaceful passing on September 7, 2009.
